Wray Bros open an Enterprise Business Centre for Young Businesses
Getting a business off the ground isn’t easy; the task can be made even more challenging with expensive premises in a poor location.
Graham and Mark Wray developed their business back in 1984 with the guidance of The Princes’ Youth Business Trust. The difficulty of starting a business and finding affordable office space for those formative years is something that has remained with Graham and Mark and has certainly influenced their latest Wray Bros venture.

That desire to help young, fledgling businesses as well as support local initiatives within the wider community has seen Wray Bros come full circle.
Graham Wray explains “We began with help from the Princes’ Trust, we recieved financial support and business advice. Despite the help we found it very difficult securing an affordable, safe work location to establish ourselves and this was a particulary stressful issue at the time” Mark Wray adds “We made many mistakes in the early days, and the biggest mistake was our choice of business premises, as this made the hard task of getting established - even more difficult. We have never forgotten those days and the help we received, so now we are putting something back”

Wray Bros Enterprise Business Centre Hitting the Headlines
Following a visit to Clarence House to meet with Prince Charles to celebrate 35 years of the Princes' Trust, the event was well attended with a host of well-known celebrity names such as Kevin Spacey, Brian May and Rod Stewart. Graham and Mark have been busy promoting the fact not only is Wray Bros the longest trading company started with the support of the Princes' Trust but the opening of the Enterprise Centre has grabbed a lot of attention, especially with so much bad news around concerning businesses folding up and down the country, it is refreshing to have positive news about what can be achieved with perseverence and belief as well as the support available for young businesses looking for a helping hand. Graham and Mark will feature on North West Tonight and their story has also featured within the Liverpool Echo.
