Jangro Safety Data Sheets | Jangro MSDS Sheets for COSHH

The Jangro cleaning chemicals we supply are accompanied by an appropriate Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

Why is this relevant?Safety data sheets play an important role to make the workplace safe and to help protect the environment. Within the safety data sheet is all the relevant information, e.g. chemical composition, transport storage and handling precautions and first aid measures etc, in order to help you complete a COSHH risk assessment. COSHH (The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) is a piece of Health and Safety legislation that covers, amongst other things, the cleaning products used by professional cleaning organisations and their staff.

COSHH risk assessments deal with the risks posed by each cleaning product and identifies the necessary control measures to be adopted on site to remove or minimise those risks. Of course, all of the cleaning chemicals if stored, handled, used correctly and that personal protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, facemasks and work clothing, are available when substances are in use, ensure cleaning chemicals are completely safe and pose no significant risk to users.

More useful information can be found on the HSE website that details, good practice with hand care, the need for ppe with certain cleaning tasks and storing cleaning chemicals safely etc.

The list of links below are a selection of the Safety Data Sheets for our Jangro cleaning products, that provide detailed information on the cleaning chemicals and how they should be treated in the event of an accident. Wray Bros also supply a number of Jangro COSHH risk assessment template documents.

Don’t forget we also run COSHH training courses.
