Wray Bros are giving one school the chance to honour their unsung hero with a free custom made polo shirt
Following on from their sponsorship of the Most Inspirational Secondary School award, Wray Bros want to encourage readers to submit nominations for their Unsung Hero. It could be a caretaker, dinner lady, receptionist or lollypopper, just tell Wray Bros their name, what they do and why you would like to thank them.
Wray Bros works with many educational institutions including University of Manchester, John Moores, Hope and Keele University, as well as over 300 schools in the North-West. So it is only fitting that we are involved in the ceremony that celebrates some of our finest institutions.
The owners of Wray Bros also want to help the young, budding entrepreneurs of tomorrow, with the help of their lovable mascot Willy Wiper. All the profits from the cuddly toy go directly to the Prince's Trust which helps 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives.
During term time, you can find Willy's friendly face on the back of a caretaker's trolley, strapped to the front of a builder's van or brightening up a computer desk. Willy works hard, so he plays hard! As part of an on-going dialogue on social media, Wray Bros encourages people to get creative with their very own selfies of Willy and tweet them under the hashtag #WillyWiper.
So far pictures have seen Willy do everything from making a simple cup of tea, to riding a gondola in Venice, exploring a turtle beach in California and even flying an aeroplane in Dubai.
So, if you would like to get involved and nominate your unsung hero, email - lewis at wraybros dot co dot uk and our team will present the winner with their free unique polo shirt by the end of November.
