How to descale your kitchen equipment

AUTOMATIC MACHINES:

1. Switch off Dosing Dispenser and the empty machine.
2. Remove loose limescale with spatula and rinse the inside of the machine.
3. Fill the machine with clean water.
4. Pour undiluted, into the machine at a ratio of 5% (i.e. 2 litres per 40 litres capacity) and leave for 2-3 minutes.
5. Switch on machine and circulate the solution for between 5-10 minutes. Drain the solution and refill with fresh water.
6. Circulate the water for a further 3 minutes and drain.

BAIN MARIES, WATER BOILERS AND COFFEE MACHINES:

1. Dilute 200ml per 5 litre of hot water.
2. Pour into vessel and soak for up to 30 minutes.
3. Drain solution and scrub the surface with a stiff brush.
4. Rinse thoroughly with clean cold water.
