A water based floor sealer that drys in approx. 2 hours
With using the Evans Sealaqua Polyurethane Floor Seal Water Based the time spent sealing a concrete, wood or cork floor is reduced considerably, as the second and third coats can be applied the same day. Provides a waterproof base for emulsion floor polishes.
Pack size: 5 litre, Odour: Acrylic, pH: 8.5, Dilution: Ready to use.

How to treat a floor with Polyurethane Floor Seal
For best results, apply to a clean untreated floor surface.
- Use undiluted
- Apply a thin, even coat with a seal applicator or clean mop
- Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours
- Apply a second and third coat allow to dry, as first coat
- If the floor is porous further coats may be necessary
Drying times can vary, depending on application, conditions, temperature & humidity. Sanding in-between coats is not necessary, but a light sand with a medium grade floor pad will help key the surface, especially if a fourth coat is being applied. Floors treated with EVANS SEALAQUA POLYURETHANE FLOOR SEAL WATER BASED should be left for 24 hours before subjecting to normal use.
NB. Before using any floor seal, apply to a small test area & test for adhesion & check for colour & adhesion. All newly laid concrete floors should be allowed to ‘dry out’ before applying a Floor Seal, to reduce the likelihood of flaking. As a guide, we suggest leaving the floor for 1 month per 1” thickness, to enable the moisture to evaporate.
Prior to applying the Floor Polish, we suggest a gentle machine scrub with a medium grade floor pad to provide a ‘key’ to the surface.
